Gratitude

I'm grateful for the opportunities God has blessed me with

Grateful for the ability to sift through the muck and find Easter eggs

Golden tickets of life when strife attempts to take the joy

I'm employed

That's a check

Literal and figurative

Love is what I have to give

And Love is what is received daily

Prayerfully

There have only been a handful of moments where I felt that life didn't love me back

And I'm grateful that these 41 years have been jam packed with blessings

Good, bad and great tidings

Timing

Built in and designed with purpose

Focus wavering and winding

Path clear though

Goals in tact

Lack never taking over

Mindset tried

Always finding light in the dark

Ready to embark on new things

Present and aware

Patiently awaiting the gratitude that lies there
